The IUSD Board of Education will not take action related to the state’s mask mandates for schools during the February 16 Board Meeting and as a reminder, California’s current indoor mask requirements for TK-12 schools remain in place.

IUSD has once again been ranked the top school district in Orange County and one of the best in California, according to a new report by the review site Niche.  The ranking is based on a variety of factors including state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, diversity and student life on campus.
Superintendent Walker's message of gratitude, to the IUSD community, includes important reminders to help keep schools safe, along with mental health and wellness resources and supports for students and families. 
During the December 14 Irvine Unified School District Board of Education Meeting, the Board selected Ira Glasky as the new Board President and Lauren Brooks as the new Board Clerk, which are one-year terms.
