At a recent IUSD Board of Education Meeting, Board Members Ira Galasky, Lauren Brooks, Paul Bokota, Sharon Wallin and Cyril Yu recognized certificated, classified and administrative employees, who will retire before or on June 30.
In all, 73 IUSD employees will retire this year, collectively representing more than 1,865 years of service. Eamonn O’Donovan, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, introduced those who were able to attend the Board Meeting and praised them for their contributions to students Each retiree was presented with a small gift as a token of the District’s gratitude. The retirees in attendance included Teri Dawson, Kathleen Larson, Mary Lenz, Maureen Leong, Brendan McBrien, Linda Mirshafiee, Shelley Naramore, Sue Natalizio, Allie Nixon, Cora Peck, Valerie Schiano, Ann Marie Simmons, Catherine Titus, Paula Venable and Anne Walton.
