Classified School Employee Appreciation Week

Classified Employee Appreciation Week

May 15-21 is Classified School Employee Appreciation Week! IUSD would like to take this opportunity to thank our 2,000+ classified employees for their unwavering dedication and professionalism.  Classified employees work side-by-side with administrators, teachers and staff, making it possible for our district to maintain operations and to continue serving our students, families and staff. One may see classified employees supporting school facilities as custodians or maintenance technicians. They also work hands-on in classrooms assisting learning as para-educators or media technicians. Our food services staff, analysts, secretaries, bus drivers, clerks, and other non-certificated staff members' work contribute to the success of IUSD's students. Their efforts go far beyond what is included in their job descriptions. While many classified employees work behind the scenes, IUSD fully recognizes and appreciates the importance of all of our classified employees’ work.

Education is a vital service that is at the heart of our community and we could not provide the highest quality educational experience we can envision without our classified employees. Give the classified employees who have made an impact on your life a high-five, a thoughtful note, or even an extra "thank you" this week. Happy Classified School Employee Appreciation Week and thank you for all you do for IUSD!
