Free COVID-19 test kits are now available for IUSD students and staff as part of our commitment to provide easy access to testing in support of the health and safety of our school communities. Saliva or nasal test kits will be available at your student's school during regular school hours.
The Irvine Police Department, in partnership with IUSD and the PTA, has created a traffic safety video with important tips for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers in and around school zones, driveways and crosswalks. IUSD's Ask-A-Scientist/Engineer Night is on Wednesday, September 29 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Creekside Education Center (3387 Barranca, Irvine). This free annual event will assist students in grades 6 through 12, who are working on science fair projects.

IUSD broke ground on Solis Park, the District’s soon-to-be fifth K-8 school on September 1, 2021. This state-of-the-art education facility is expected to open August 2022 and will serve the Great Park Neighborhoods.
