The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that children ages 5-11 are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.  This article provides links to resources and information about COVID-19 vaccines and convenient clinic locations in Irvine to receive the vaccine for all eligible groups.

In support of Red Ribbon Week, IUSD schools are raising awareness about drug prevention and making healthy choices by decorating their campuses, providing information to students and hosting themed spirit days throughout the school-week.

Governor Newsom announced a phased approach for requiring  all California K-12 students to get vaccinated against COVID-19 that begins when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued full vaccine approval for younger age groups. Read this article for more information.

Free COVID-19 test kits are now available for IUSD students and staff as part of our commitment to provide easy access to testing in support of the health and safety of our school communities.  Saliva or nasal test kits will be available at your student's school during regular school hours.
