IUSD school nurses are working beyond their normal hours to provide community COVID-19 support at vaccination clinics and/or through an after-hours helpline to provide IUSD families and staff health information and resources as part of the county’s COVID-19 Schools Response Team.
Career Technical Education Month is focused on CTE programs that prepare students for high-wage and high-demand careers. IUSD is proud to announce our 40th Annual Science Showcase, featuring  a range of innovative science projects from IUSD students in grades 6-12, including students enrolled in both the Irvine Virtual Academy and in-person instruction.  This year's science showcase will be hosted virtually on from January 29  to February 12.

The county’s 28 public school superintendents received top honors from the Orange County School Boards Association (OCSBA) this week, “In Recognition of Exemplary Leadership for Youth and the Education Community Amidst a Global Health Pandemic.”

As part of the Irvine Unified School District’s ongoing effort to prevent and limit the spread of COVID-19 in our schools and facilities, the District in partnership with LivingFit Nation Corporate Wellness will offer, at no cost to participants, COVID-19 testing for students and IUSD employees and their dependents through Feb. 22. 
The Irvine Company presented IUSD with a check for $2 million as part of the Excellence in Education Enrichment Fund grant. This Fund supports art, music and science education for IUSD students in grades four through six.
