Dear IUSD Families,
On behalf of the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) Board of Education, administrators, and staff, we are excited to welcome our new and returning students to the 2024-25 school year. We would also like to thank our year-round students and families, who began school on July 17, for a smooth start. Our staff has been diligently preparing throughout the summer and is eager to make this a wonderful year!

We believe that educational excellence is a journey, not a destination. Our commitment to continuous improvement, inclusion, and to providing the highest quality educational experience we can envision for all of our more than 38,000 students has become the hallmark of IUSD excellence. We are dedicated to developing the whole child so they are equipped with the attitudes, skills, and knowledge to meet their academic and personal goals within IUSD and beyond. This includes preparing students to be college and career-ready while also nurturing their social and emotional well-being.
Student, Parent, and Family Resources
To help ensure your child’s success, we are continually improving our educational supports, mental health and wellness resources, school counseling programs, and a range of resources for students and families. I encourage you to explore the valuable information available on our website at iusd.org.
Additionally, to help start the school year, we have updated our website with several helpful back-to-school reminders that include information about traffic and e-bike safety, college and career readiness, parent and family engagement that encompasses language support, parent education, the Parent Center, tips for using Parent Square and the Parent Portal, campus safety, digital citizenship and much more.
Accessibility and Language Preferences
