The National Competition
Science Olympiad, one of the nation’s premier STEM competitions, brings together 120 middle and high school teams from across the country that qualified through state-level tournaments held throughout the spring.
The competition features rigorous hands-on events and laboratory challenges designed by experts from government agencies, leading universities, industry organizations, and Science Olympiad state chapters. Events span a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, physics, epidemiology, astronomy, chemistry, robotics, and computer coding. This year’s national tournament was held at the University of Southern California on May 23, 2026.
Congratulations to the Sierra Vista Science Olympiad team on their remarkable win!
