Following a comprehensive search that included input from staff, students, parents, and community members, the IUSD Board of Education has selected Interim Superintendent Cassie Parham as the District’s next Superintendent.

The Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) is committed to keeping families informed and engaged. To assist with this, we use ParentSquare, a comprehensive communications platform that allows our school and the District to send important updates, alerts and information directly to our families.

Students from the District's nationally recognized honors ensemble chorus and orchestra performed in front of a capacity audience. Board President Katie McEwen accepted $2 million check from the Irvine Company to support music, art and science in IUSD.

Each month, as part of our commitment to ensuring the IUSD community is well-informed about District priorities, initiatives, successes and challenges, we will share insights, innovations, news and more, while highlighting the many voices that put the "US" at the center of IUSD.

IUSD is launching the Early College Program for incoming 9th-grade students starting the 2025-26 school year. Courses are UC/CSU transferable and can lead to IGETC Certification or even an associate’s degree with additional units.
