Beacon Park Principal Kris Linville reminds us that instead of March Madness, we should be focusing on Mindful March! It’s important to be in the moment instead of worrying about the past or the future.

The District's Abilities Awareness event, originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 15, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 26 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Northwood High School.  

This annual honor goes to first- or second-year instructors, who go above and beyond, while demonstrating professional curiosity and an unbridled enthusiasm for teaching. 

IUSD’s Teacher of the Year program recognizes exceptional instructors at the high, middle and elementary school levels. Congratulations to this year's honorees Jon Resendez, Alma Alexander and Liz Harlow!

Sierra Vista’s Science Olympiad team hosted a Science Olympiad invitational at Beacon Park School in which 76 elementary and middle school teams from California and Texas, including 28 IUSD teams competed.
