IUSD’s sustainability team is hosting the District’s Annual Earth Day Student Poster Contest, which is open to all IUSD students. This year’s theme is “Our Power, Our Planet: School and Community-led Climate Action.”

Northwood Elementary is in the first year of a three-year program, working with professional Segerstrom Center for the Arts Teaching Artists.  

Each year, IUSD teachers and administrators work together to develop school calendars for the years ahead for both traditional and year-round schools. IUSD would like your feedback by April 6.

This year’s PL Summit had the focus and theme of "The Human Side of Teaching in a Changing World: Fostering Belonging and Expanding Access for Diverse Learners."

 The Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF) and the City of Irvine offer affordable and high-quality programs that allow Irvine students to stay connected to others and keep their minds active.

 IUSD secured the highest number of teams advancing to the State Competition from Orange County, with Sierra Vista Middle School placing first for the fifth consecutive year.

The 45th Annual IUSD Science Fair was a resounding celebration of student curiosity and ingenuity. This year marked a new milestone, with 531 students from grades 6–12 rising to the challenge. 

Springbrook Elementary School is home to Orange County and IUSD's only Elementary Montessori program, which serves students in grades 1-6. 

In elementary and middle school, career exploration sparks curiosity, builds self-awareness, and helps students connect their interests and strengths to future possibilities.
