IUSD Leaders Recognized Among Orange County’s Top 125 Most Influential People

The Orange County Register has named IUSD Superintendent Cassie Parham and IUSD Student Board Member Rose Chhabria  to its Top 125 Most Influential People list, an honor that recognizes the impact and leadership of individuals in the county.

IUSD Superintendent Cassie Parham

This year, Parham was appointed as the District’s superintendent after serving as interim superintendent since February. A longtime assistant superintendent, Parham brings more than three decades of service within IUSD, where she has helped guide the District through significant educational shifts to meet the evolving needs of students.

Throughout her career, Parham has emphasized honoring the whole child and equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for both academic and personal success. Her leadership has reflected a commitment to innovation and excellence, continuing IUSD’s tradition as one of California’s highest-performing school districts.

Rose Chhabria, Northwood High School

Sharing the spotlight is Rose Chhabria, a senior at Northwood High School, whose inclusion on the Register’s list highlights the growing influence of student leadership. A Girl Scout, student leader, and community advocate, Chhabria serves as her school’s ASB executive board secretary and as an IUSD Student Board Member. She developed a digital entrepreneurship program for underserved youth, promotes mental health awareness through the Hope Squad on her campus. She has organized large-scale service initiatives with the H4H and Aalambana foundations, helping distribute thousands of meals and essential items to families in need. Her dedication to service has earned her the President’s Volunteer Service Award twice.

These recognitions are representative of all IUSD’s extraordinary students and staff, and their impact on the greater community.

Join us in congratulating Superintendent Parham and Rose Chhabria!
