How We Use Your Input
Your responses help drive decisions, foster transparency and accountability, and support positive student outcomes:
- School-Level Impact: Schools use survey data to focus support and resources on meeting the unique needs of their communities.
- Investments and Priorities: The IUSD Board of Education, the leadership team, and District staff review survey data to enhance our services to students and families and to fund District priorities through the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), the state’s system that guides school funding to support student success.
Feedback and priorities identified in the Annual Survey have been used to:
- Make investments in teaching and learning
- Increase mental health resources and supports
- Enhance communications and family engagement
- Make improvements to our Nutrition Services
- Increase access to technology both in the classroom and at home
- Support staff by developing and implementing professional learning resources
