IUSD is excited to announce the start of the 45th Annual Science Fair! This year’s fair, sponsored by the Irvine Public Schools Foundation in partnership with the Broadcom Foundation, is right around the corner.
The Science Fair showcases a range of cutting-edge projects that tackle real-world challenges and explore fundamental scientific principles. Our community is invited to view the projects online by visiting the Science Fair website.
Mark your calendars with these key dates and events:
- January 6 from 3-4 p.m.: Final office hours before project submission
- January 6 at 4 p.m.: Deadline to submit projects
- January 21 from 4-8 p.m.: 6-8 grade interviews and judging at Creekside Education Center
- January 22 from 4-8 p.m. 9-12 grade interviews and judging on Zoom
- February 4, 2026: IUSD Science Fair Awards Ceremonies (by invitation only)
Award-winning projects will advance to the Orange County Science and Engineering Fair beginning in February.
