The Irvine Unified School District ranks No. 1 in Orange County and is one of the best in California in a new report by ranking and review site Niche.
In the 2018-19 Best School Districts report, IUSD came in on top in Orange County based on a variety of factors including state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores and teacher quality.
The rankings were calculated based on data from the U.S. Department of Education, test scores, college data and ratings by Niche users.
Niche is a website that analyzes dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews to produce comprehensive rankings, report cards and profiles for every K-12 school, college, neighborhood, and major company in the U.S.
