Stress Awareness Day is November 6.  As part of IUSD’s Speak Up, We Care initiative, the District has compiled the following resources to remind our students and families about the importance of self-care and to seek support when needed, especially as we head into the holiday season. 
Given the growing concern about youth vaping across the nation, it is important for parents to be informed.  IUSD is hosting two vaping prevention parent workshops.  
After taking the field for separate performances, marching bands from IUSD’s five comprehensive high schools joined forces for a big finale during “Band Spectacular.”

Due to strong weather conditions this week, SCE notified IUSD that Eastwood, Santiago Hills and Stonegate elementary schools, along with Northwood High School, may be subject to a power outage beginning early Wednesday.

Meadow Park and Brywood recently hosted open houses and dedication ceremonies on their campuses to showcase their schools’ recently completed Measure E upgrades.

IUSD state standardized assessment scores have outperformed both state and Orange County score averages for four consecutive years.
In partnership with Hoag Hospital, IUSD has developed the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Speaker Series.  In this first session, speakers will discuss the impacts excessive gaming and social media can have on children and teens.
