IUSD hosted the official dedication ceremony for its newest K-6 school, Eastwood Elementary.  The District’s 23rd elementary school is a state-of-the-art education facility, which opened in August of this year.
For the third consecutive year, the Irvine Unified School District’s state standardized assessment scores have outperformed both state and Orange County score averages.

IUSD broke ground on Cadence Park School, on September 7, 2017. Once built, this state-of-the-art education facility will be the District's fourth K-8 and its 40th school.
IUSD's 2017-18 Annual Update includes information about the first Series I Measure E projects, which are being implemented at six schools this summer, information about the Citizens Oversight Committee, schools that are receiving Measure E funds by series, and other general Measure E information.

Starting this month, six Measure E projects will begin at Bonita Canyon, College Park, Culverdale, Greentree, Santiago Hills and Stone Creek elementary schools.
The 2017-18 school funding survey, which is part of the 10-month Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) process, is now open.
IUSD hosted two Portola High School dedication ceremonies to celebrate the District’s fifth comprehensive high school, which opened last August.
