Governor Newsom will provide an update on COVID-19 guidance for schools today, July 17, at noon. His announcement will broadcast on several major news stations and live stream on the Governor’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. If you are able, we encourage you to watch his update.
Important Update: The IUSD Board of Education approved academic models for the 2020-21 school year and voted to require face coverings/masks. Families have until  Sunday, July 19 to make academic model selections. Information and process described here.

Today, we informed year round families that the OC Health Care Agency has not finalized guidelines required for schools to safely open to students and staff in time for the start of year round schools on July 15. In addition, the July 1 Special Board Meeting and staff presentation of the proposed academic models has been moved to July 14.
