University High School earned top honors at the Orange County Academic Decathlon, after finishing first in the 10-event virtual competition. Woodbridge High School placed second, with both teams advancing to the state competition in March.
IUSD is proud to announce our 40th Annual Science Showcase, featuring a range of innovative science projects from IUSD students in grades 6-12, including students enrolled in both the Irvine Virtual Academy and in-person instruction. This year's science showcase will be hosted virtually on from January 29 to February 12.
The Irvine Company presented IUSD with a check for $2 million as part of the Excellence in Education Enrichment Fund grant. This Fund supports art, music and science education for IUSD students in grades four through six.

The Orange County Health Care Agency recently announced the winners of their Mask Message Contest, which included several IUSD students. The county-wide contest was designed to promote mask safety and help inform school communities about ways to slow the spread of COVID-19.
