For the sixth time in seven years, Woodbridge High School has won the Orange County Academic Decathlon.
Congratulations to team members Risha Bhat, Nathan Gov, Hank Huang, Ria Kundu, Nate Spear, Deena Sun, Victoria Sun, Melvin Wu, Therese Gonzales, Rachel Khorashadi, Jamie Shih and Catherine Tsaowimonsiri and to coaches Mike Nakaue, Shan Wu, Sam Lee and John Tezak!
The team, comprised of nine members and three alternates, competed in a series of 10 academic events, ranging from mathematics and social science to speech and interview. This year’s competition theme was the American Revolution.
The team will now advance to the state competition.
