IUSD Summer Programs

High School Learning Recovery and Acceleration and Enrichment Academies
The High School Learning Recovery Academy will be in-person at Woodbridge High School and the Acceleration and Enrichment Academy will be fully virtual through San Joaquin. April 23is the last day to register for the High School Learning Recovery and Acceleration/Enrichment courses. 

Program Dates: June 21 - July 30 (no school on July 2 and 5)
Program Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. 
Registration Dates: April 5 - 23

Middle School Learning Recovery Academy (Invitation Only)
The Middle School Learning Recovery Academy (ELA/Math/ELD) classes will be in-person at Jeffrey Trail and Lakeside Middle Schools.  Refer to the MS Learning Recovery Academy Course Catalog 2021 for more information. 

Program Dates: June 21 – July 20 (no school on July 2 and 5)
Program Hours: 8:20 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.
Registration Dates: April 16 – April 30

Parents/guardians of eligible students were sent invitations on April 16 and have until April 30to register.  Registration instructions were included in the email. 

Middle School Math Bridge (Only students eligible for the bridge course may register)
The Middle School Math Bridge Course will be blended with students completing independent work, four live virtual sessions, and two in-person exam dates at Jeffrey Trail Middle School. Parents/guardians of eligible students will register using a Google Form, which will be made available at a later date.

Program Dates: June 22 - July 20 (no school on July 2 and 5)
Program Hours: Please see the catalog for hours
Registration Dates: May 10-13

Elementary School Learning Recovery Academy (Invitation Only)
The Elementary School Learning Recovery Academy (ELA or ELA/Math combo) classes will be in-person at Springbrook and Cypress Village elementary schools. 


Program Dates: June 21 - July 20 (no school on July 2 and 5)
Program Hours: 8 a.m. - Noon
Registration Dates: Closed (April 9 – 16)

Parents/Guardians of eligible students received invitations by April 9 and had until April 16 to register.  Registration instructions were included in the email.

English Language Development (Invitation Only)

Extended School Year (Invitation Only)
Invitations for our Special Education students will be sent home by the end of April.  Parents/guardians should check their email regularly for the registration link from your student’s case carrier.

Free Student Meals
This year, IUSD is pleased to offer snacks and meals free of charge for all students attending any of the in-person summer programs.  IUSD Nutrition services will also continue the Community Feeding program through summer. 

Transportation
IUSD is exploring the possibility of offering transportation to any student who needs it. Please see the following information for more details. 

High School
If you are interested in your child taking District transportation, should it be available, please fill out the interest survey found here:  High School Learning Recovery need survey.  Pick-up and drop-off will be at the student’s high school of residence. 

Middle School
If you are interested in District transportation for your student, please respond to the survey located in your student’s invitation.  Pick and drop off will be at the student’s feeder elementary school. 

Elementary School
If you are interested in District transportation, please see the interest survey link that will be emailed home in the next week.  Pick up and drop off will be at your student’s elementary school of residence. 

English Language Development
If you are interested in transportation, please see the interest survey that was included in the invitation.

Extended School Year

Transportation information will be provided in a follow-up email.
