IUSD’s grab-and-go meal locations will be closed on Monday, May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday. IUSD families picking up meals on Friday, May 22 will receive meals for that day and for the Tuesday after Memorial Day. The regular pick-up schedule will resume on Wednesday, May 27. Short and Long-Term Food Assistance
For families who need near or long-term food assistance, Families Forward has a drive-thru food pantry (M-F) 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., located at 8 Thomas Drive in Irvine. The drive-thru stations will provide non-perishable items to families each week. No appointment is necessary. Visit Families Forward for more information.
How You Can Help
Although Families Forward are not accepting volunteers due to safety concerns, they are accepting much needed donated items, which can be delivered to their drive-thru pantry (M-F) 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Visit their website for a list of needed items.
