IUSD students excelled at the recent California Science and Engineering Fair, with 15 students securing top-five positions in their respective division categories, alongside several special awardees.
The California Science & Engineering Fair is the final science fair of the academic year for students throughout the State of California in grades 6-12. This year, 882 participants from 356 schools across the State showcased 726 projects in more than 20 categories, vying for over $30,000 in total awards.
Top award winners in the Senior Division have the opportunity to become Finalists in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. In the Junior Division, participants have the chance to participate in the national Thermo-Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge.
