The Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) has once again been ranked a top school district in Orange County and one of the best in California, according to a new report by the review site Niche.
The 2022 Best Schools in America report lists IUSD, which serves more than 36,000 students and has 41 in-person schools and two virtual academies, as the top school district in the county and one of the best in the state. The ranking is based on a variety of factors including state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, diversity and student life on campus. This is the second straight year that IUSD has received this ranking.

In addition to K-12 schools, Niche analyzes dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews to produce comprehensive rankings, report cards and profiles for colleges, neighborhoods, cities and major U.S. companies.
