Eva Estrada, a junior at Creekside High School, received the Every Student Succeeding award at the Region 17 Association of California School Administrators ceremony. One student from each district within the region is selected for this honor.
The Every Student Succeeding Award honors students who have demonstrated exceptional resilience by overcoming significant personal challenges while continuing to pursue academic and personal success. Eva was selected for her perseverance, leadership and determination in the face of adversity.
Eva’s road to success in education has exemplified tremendous persistence, as she’s had to navigate challenging family dynamics and situations, as well as a physical impairment that was not identified until late in adolescence.
Now at Creekside, Eva has found a renewed focus on her academics. She is stretching herself in new ways by enrolling in dual enrollment courses through Irvine Valley College, Coastline ROP courses and is serving as a student advisory representative on the District’s Student Advisory Committee.
Superintendent Cassie Parham, Board Member Lauren Brooks, and school leadership were in attendance at the awards ceremony to celebrate Eva.
Join us in congratulating Eva on these achievements!
