Annual Survey: Help Us Set Funding Priorities for Your Child’s Education

Annual Survey Roadmap

The Annual Survey is open now through Monday, February 10. It helps us understand what matters most to our families, students, and staff, including teaching and learning, educational and social experiences on campus (school climate), student success, and parent and family engagement. It also helps us determine where our schools direct resources and funding.

Survey topics include but are not limited to:

  • Teaching and Learning
  • Social and Educational Experiences (School Climate)
  • College and Career Readiness
  • Homework Policies
  • Student Discipline
  • Mental Health
  • Bullying Prevention and Intervention
  • Parent and Family Engagement
  • And more!

The Annual Survey is available in multiple languages. Responses are anonymous, and it only takes a few minutes to complete the survey.

Why Your Feedback Matters

Student, Staff, and Parent/Guardian-Centered Decision Making: IUSD is committed to making decisions that reflect the needs and expectations of the IUSD community. By participating in the Annual Survey, you have a direct voice in the planning and funding of the District’s goals and priorities.

Transparency and Accountability: This interactive process helps IUSD identify annual goals, take action on those goals, and measure progress on academic achievement, school climate, and parent engagement as part of the 10-month LCAP process. It allows us to align our budget and educational goals while being accountable to our community.

Improved Student Outcomes: By understanding your concerns and priorities, we can make more informed decisions that lead to improved student outcomes. Your input helps us identify areas that are important for providing students with the highest quality educational experience we can envision.

How We Use Your Feedback

Schools use survey responses to meet the needs of their communities. The IUSD Board of Education, the Superintendent's leadership team, and District staff also review and use them to continually improve how we serve students and families.

We Want To Hear Your Voice

By taking a few minutes to participate, you can help us shape the educational experiences of current and future generations of IUSD students. Your voice matters, and we are committed to listening to what is important to you!
