Dear IUSD Community,
As essential partners in your child’s education, your voice has a significant impact on identifying educational priorities that help determine funding and resources at your school(s) and districtwide. Please take a moment to complete the Annual Survey to share what matters most to you.
What’s in the Annual Survey?
The survey covers a variety of topics, including but not limited to:
- Teaching and Learning
- Social and Educational Experiences (School Climate)
- College and Career Readiness
- Homework Policies
- Student Discipline
- Mental Health
- Bullying Prevention and Intervention
- Parent and Family Engagement
- And more!
How We Use Your Input
Your responses drive student-centered decisions, foster transparency and accountability, and support positive student outcomes:
- School-Level Impact: Schools use survey data to focus support and resources to meet the unique needs of their communities.
- Investments and Priorities: The IUSD Board of Education, the Superintendent’s leadership team, and district staff review survey findings to continually enhance our services to students and families and to fund District priorities through the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), the state’s system that guides school funding to support student success.
Feedback and priorities identified in the Annual Survey have been used to:
- Make investments in teaching and learning
- Increase support for student mental health resources
- Increase access to technology both in the classroom and at home, such as providing 1:1 devices for students
- Support staff by developing and implementing professional learning resources
Quick, Easy, and Anonymous
The Annual Survey is available in multiple languages, and your responses are anonymous. It only takes a few moments out of your day to complete and is an opportunity to have a direct voice in the planning and funding of the District’s goals and priorities.
Thank you for your partnership and commitment to educational excellence for all IUSD students.
Sincerely,
Terry L. Walker
