Sierra Vista Middle School’s Science Olympiad team earned the prestigious title of Southern California Science Olympiad Champions. This marks the fifth consecutive title for the team.

In celebration of Earth Month and in recognition of the district’s deepening commitment to sustainability, IUSD is proud to highlight its growing environmental initiatives and measurable impact across campuses.

Students from IUSD’s nationally recognized honors ensemble chorus and orchestra performed for a capacity audience, as Irvine Company presented a $2 million contribution supporting music, art and science.

Attendees will learn practical, easy-to-implement tools from Dr. Weichman to apply in daily life, focusing on building routines and habits for long-term well-being. This event is for adults only.

IUSD had a strong showing at the recent National History Day-Orange County with 45 elementary, middle and high school projects winning top honors, the most of any school district in Orange County. These champions will now compete at National History Day-California on May 1-3 at Sacramento State University.

From whimsical underwater adventures to fairy tales and modern comedies, each production showcased artistic talent, technical skill and teamwork developed through CTE pathways.

The honor highlights the District’s approach and commitment to championing student voice and ensuring it plays a central role in shaping how AI is implemented across campuses.

Each student engaged with full-length Holocaust survivor testimonies to learn more about their memories and stories to inspire the students' writings and works of art.

Northwood Elementary is in the first year of a three-year program, working with professional Segerstrom Center for the Arts Teaching Artists.
