Sierra Vista's Science Olympiad team earned the title of Southern California Science Olympiad Champions, scoring a record number of points in their division and will advance to nationals.
IUSD's nationally recognized honors ensemble chorus and orchestra, featuring more than 600 students in grades five through 12, performed during this annual District event.
In addition to Denan's prestigious award, Gayatri Sivakoti and Cameron Weng were also contest finalists.

For the sixth time in seven years, Woodbridge High School has won the Orange County Academic Decathlon! The team now moves on to the state competition.

This is the team’s fifth win in six years, which is an impressive record, especially given the high-level of competition in the region. The team will advance to represent Southern California at the national competition.  
Sierra Vista’s Science Olympiad team hosted a Science Olympiad invitational at Beacon Park School in which 76 elementary and middle school teams from California and Texas, including 28 IUSD teams competed. 
The ranking is based on factors such as academics, teachers, clubs and activities, diversity, college prep, athletics, and administration.
