Irvine High School took top honors in the prestigious National Economics Challenge semi-finals, placing 16th in the nation out of 6,500 teams. Now, they're moving on to the final competition.

The OC Register recently announced the semifinalists for Artist of the Year, including seven IUSD students chosen for their talent, skill and passion.
Sierra Vista Middle School’s Science Olympiad team earned the title of Southern California Science Olympiad Champions. In the High School Division, Northwood placed second and Univeristy placed third.
For the 13th consecutive year, IUSD has received the Best Communities for Music Education designation from The NAMM Foundation.
Woodbridge secured fourth place with 43,068.5 points and University secured tenth place with 40,570.9 points.
Nearly 40 IUSD students have clinched top honors at the Orange County Science and Engineering Fair (OCSEF) and are moving on to the State competition in April.
