IUSD announced four Teachers of Promise, which goes to first- or second-year instructors, who go above and beyond, while demonstrating professional curiosity and an unbridled enthusiasm for teaching.

The IUSD Board of Education unanimously selected Lauren Brooks to serve as president and Betty Carroll to serve as clerk during the December 11 Board Meeting.
The Speak Up, We Care campaign is districtwide and designed to increase student and parent awareness and access to mental health and wellness services and resources. We want our students to know that their voice matters, they are not alone, there is strength in speaking up, and we are here to help because we care.
The Irvine Unified Council PTA (IUCPTA) will host a candidates forum for the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) Board of Education Trustee Area 2 on Wednesday, October 17 at 7 p.m. at the IUSD District Office.
IUSD hosted the official dedication ceremony for its newest K-8 school, Cadence Park, which is the District's fourth K-8 and 40th school.  
IUSD's state standardized assessment scores have outperformed both state and Orange County score averages, with IUSD ranking the second highest in the state for the third consecutive year.
