IUSD offers a wide range of workshops and presentations through the Irvine Parent Education Program (IPEP) to provide support and assistance for the families of IUSD students throughout the school year. The goal of these workshops and presentations is to empower parents and guardians with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their student's education.
This month, the IPEP workshops include:
- Active Parenting School Aged Children Series (Farsi)
- Screens and Teens Parent Workshop: This presentation will provide families and caregivers information about social media and the impacts it can have on youth mental health.
- Coffee and Connections - Emergency and Disaster Preparedness in IUSD: Please join IUSD in partnership with the Irvine Special Education Community Advisory Committee (CAC) and Dr. Stephen Bayne, IUSD DIrector of Risk Management and Safety, for a presentation addressing School Safety and Emergency Preparedness
Experienced instructors and district-level representatives lead each workshop, providing participants with thoughtful and up-to-date information.
