Irvine High School’s Virtual Enterprise Career Technical Education (CTE) team secured a major national achievement, placing third at the 2026 National Youth Business Summit, one of the most competitive student business events in the United States.

From whimsical underwater adventures to fairy tales and modern comedies, each production showcased artistic talent, technical skill and teamwork developed through CTE pathways.

Northwood has shown its dedication to sustainability by integrating practices into daily operations and student learning. 

This annual award honors educators who bring science, technology, engineering and mathematics to life through engaging, inquiry-based instruction that inspires curiosity and supports student success.

As students go through high school, parents and families may be surprised to learn that meeting the minimum graduation requirements for an IUSD diploma does not automatically mean their child is eligible to apply and attend a University of California (UC) or California State University (CSU).

IUSD's College, Career and Life Readiness Fair is on October 28 from 5-7 p.m. at Irvine High School (4321 Walnut Avenue, Irvine). All students, families and community members are invited to this free event.
