Springbrook Elementary will host a Montessori Information Night on February 22 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Multipurpose Room (MPR) at 655 Springbrook North, Irvine, CA 92614. Springbrook is home to IUSD’s only Elementary Montessori program, which serves students in grades 1-6. Similar to their peers, students in the Montessori program work toward mastery of their grade-level and end-of-year standards. However, the instructional approaches used within the program are based on Maria Montessori’s philosophy of education.
This is a District program that is fully integrated into Springbrook Elementary. As such, a district-wide lottery process is used. Students must live with IUSD attendance boundaries to enroll in the program.
Families who wish to enroll their child(ren) in the Montessori program for the 2024-2025 school year, please complete the application for new students, which will be available starting January 16. The application deadline is March 1.
