This latest module, Inoculating Your Brain from Anxiety and Stress, provides tools and activities to help reduce and manage stress, including examples of how some types of stress can help us rise to meet challenges.

During the June 9, 2020 IUSD Board of Education Meeting, the Board called for a resolution proclaiming support for Black lives matter and reaffirming IUSD’s commitment to racial justice.  
IUSD's Task Force is considering various plans for the 2020-21 school year to maintain continuity of instruction and provide equity and academic excellence for our more than 36,000 students. Input from our families is critical to our planning process. Please take a moment to read this message and complete the 2020-21 Family Survey. 

Two weeks ago, we launched Optimistic Household, which was developed solely for IUSD as part of our ongoing efforts to connect students and families with resources that support learning and social emotional wellness at the highest levels.

Friday, June 5 is the last day IUSD meals will be served for the 2019-20 school year.  Pick-ups this Friday will be at the same times and locations.  For families who need food assistance  and other community resources over the summer break, read this article for more information.  
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals at school will get extra food benefits through California’s Pandemic EBT or P-EBT program.
IUSD schools continued recognizing the Class of 2020, including promoting 6th and 8th grade students, along with graduating seniors.
