The Children’s Hospital of Orange County has received a $2 million gift from the Tsao Family Foundation to work in collaboration with the Orange County Department of Education to establish 17 WellSpaces on IUSD secondary school campuses over the next four years.
During the June 7 IUSD Board of Education Meeting, the District will host a school safety presentation to share information with the community about IUSD’s multi-layered approach to campus safety. IPD will also be on hand to provide information about their preparedness efforts.

Sierra Vista Middle School students received top honors at the 38th Annual National Science Olympiad Tournament, becoming the first IUSD school to win the national championship.
IUSD students from various middle and high schools won a total of 21 awards, while seven student projects from Sierra Vista Middle School are moving onto the National History Day Championship competition.
