More than 200 IUSD students showcased their innovative inventions at the 32nd Annual Astounding Inventions™ competition at Irvine Valley College.  Congratulations to all of our student inventors!

The Irvine Company issued the latest installment of its $45M commitment to art, music and science, through the Excellence in Education Enrichment Fund grant, for students in grades 4-6.

Superintendent Terry L. Walker delivered his second annual State of the District address Jan. 18, focused on the future of education in the Irvine Unified School District and the District’s commitment to continuous improvement to prepare students for an ever-changing world.  

Irvine students successfully launched a second cube satellite, Irvine02, into space, making this the first time ever that students from the same school district have launched two cube satellites in one year   

Irvine students successfully launched their first-ever satellite into space!  The Irvine CubeSat STEM Program, which is comprised more than 100 students from six Irvine high schools launched Mission IRVINE01 with Rocket Lab on Sunday, November 11.

IUSD hosted the official dedication ceremony for its newest K-8 school, Cadence Park, which is the District's fourth K-8 and 40th school.  

IUSD's state standardized assessment scores have outperformed both state and Orange County score averages, with IUSD ranking the second highest in the state for the third consecutive year.

Irvine's ranking as the No. 3 city in the nation for quality education is a major factor in Irvine being named one of the best places to raise a family in the U.S.

The Irvine Unified School District ranks No. 1 in Orange County and is one of the best in California in a new report by ranking and review site Niche.

Jeffrey Trail Middle School Science Olympiad team is the first-ever Orange County middle school and first IUSD school to win state and to compete at nationals.
