IUSD students in grades 6-12 participated in the District’s 39th annual Science Fair on Wednesday, February 5 at Northwood High School.

Jeffrey Trail Middle School recently hosted the first annual Jeffery Trail Science Olympiad Invitational, which was the nation’s largest middle school Science Olympiad tournament with more than 70 teams and 1,000 students.
Newsweek and STEM.org, released their ranking of the top 500 STEM high schools in the United States, which included both Northwood and University high schools.

Meadow Park and Brywood recently hosted open houses and dedication ceremonies on their campuses to showcase their schools’ recently completed Measure E upgrades.

As part of Earth Month this past April, IUSD’s Sustainability team held a poster contest, asking students to create a poster demonstrating the theme “Zero Waste Lunch.” Students focused on reducing, reusing and recycling through this creative process. 
Today, IUSD announced its five 2019 Classified Employees of the Year – Christian Gregor, Dayna Pace, Klara Saunders, Sue Natalizio and Joshua Razo.
