IUSD students from various middle and high schools won  a total of 21 awards, while seven student projects from Sierra Vista Middle School are moving onto the National History Day Championship competition.
Portola and Woodbridge High School student filmmakers created unique and educational short films on suicide prevention and mental health awareness.   
High school students were selected to each receive a $2500 baccalaureate scholarship for their strong combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
IUSD congratulates and honors its five 2022 Classified Employees of the Year; Marcus Barnes, Breanna Moore, Keri O’Melveny, Julian Garcia and Michelle Escobar.
May 15-21 is Classified School Employee Appreciation Week.  IUSD appreciates each employee for their unwavering commitment to serve our schools and students. 
The Irvine Junior Games is both a fundraiser for the Irvine Children's Fund to provide affordable and reliable childcare on all 28 IUSD elementary school campuses, as well as a platform to encourage elementary and middle school students to embrace health and athletics. 

 Our goal is to empower parents/guardians with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their student’s education. Please look over the offerings for May below and register for ones that may be of interest.

Northwood High School’s Ben Case was named one of six Orange County Teacher of the Year finalists by the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE). 
IUSD students grades 9-12 can enroll at Irvine Valley College to earn college credit during the 2022-2023 school year.
