IUSD joined the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, the Tsao Family Foundation and the Orange County Department of Education to celebrate the District WellSpaces set to open for the 2022-23 school year.  
Staying connected to family, friends and community is critical for social and emotional wellness, especially over the summer months, when students may not see friends and others as often as during the school year. This article features some examples and local resources for creating connectedness.  
The Children’s Hospital of Orange County has received a $2 million gift from the Tsao Family Foundation to work in collaboration with the Orange County Department of Education to establish 17 WellSpaces on IUSD secondary school campuses over the next four years.
