Since its inception, the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) has been committed to providing students with the highest quality educational experience we can envision. To deliver on this important promise, IUSD has been guided by our Strategic Initiatives, which outline who we are, where we’re going as a district, and how we intend to get there. They collectively serve as the goals for the departments and schools of IUSD, and also spell out our core values and essential beliefs.
Over the past year, IUSD leadership and staff have been in the process of reflecting upon and refining our Strategic Initiatives to ensure this document remains relevant and effective as we move deeper into the 21st Century. We’ve adapted and enhanced diverse areas, including facilities, technology, student learning capacities, professional development, and community engagement. At the same time, we have reached out to staff, administrators and parent leaders for their expertise and input. Now we are ready for an even broader rollout and would appreciate your feedback.
Click here to take a short survey that will give you the opportunity to review the most recent draft of our proposed 2019-24 Strategic Initiatives and to provide IUSD with your input. To view the full draft document, titled “A Vision for IUSD,” visit iusd.org/StrategicInitiatives.
Please know that the collective voice of all stakeholders is an important part of this process. The IUSD leadership team will review your feedback before submitting a new version for the Board of Education’s consideration and approval in October.
Thank you in advance for your participation in the Strategic Initiatives survey. Together, we can build a bright future for our children.
