Check back here after June 15 for more details or email us at helpdesk@iusd.org.

Education remains an essential service.  Teachers are working diligently to provide learning opportunities that can be accessed from any personal device at home. While District Chromebooks or devices are not needed to access Emergency Distance Learning (EDL) they are available for students who do not have access to devices at home.  To date, IUSD has distributed nearly 6,000 Chromebooks to our students, since March 17.

IUSD Chromebooks:
If your student does not have a device to use for EDL, IUSD will provide one.

To continue to support our families who have checked out devices for EDL, we have set up four locations throughout Irvine for device checkouts or exchanges. In the event you have a problem with your IUSD device, our team will be ready to quickly exchange it.

Center Locations:

  • Beacon Park School, 200 Cultivate, Irvine
  • Meadow Park Elementary, 50 Blue Lake South, Irvine
  • Rancho San Joaquin Middle School, 4861 Michelson Drive, Irvine
  • Westwood Training Center, 1 Liberty, Irvine

To support social distancing practices and to limit contact, you will need to fill out our Technology Access Form before going to one of these sites.  Checkout centers will be open every weekday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., no appointment necessary.  When visiting these centers, please follow social distancing guidelines.  Face coverings are advised.

If you have non-hardware related questions, please stay home and email our IT team anytime at helpdesk@iusd.org or call between 7 a.m.-4 p.m. at 949-936-5060.

We are here to provide support for IUSD devices and we’ll continue to provide devices to our students who need them.

Internet Access:
If your family does not have internet access at home, we will work with you to help you get and stay connected. For more information about free and low-cost internet options, please see our Support Center. If you would like additional support or have other questions about home internet access, please complete the Technology Access Form.

For additional questions related to devices and connectivity, email helpdesk@iusd.org.
