The photos you see here were sent to us by our friends from Sierra Vista Middle School, which hosted its third annual “Night at the Museum” on Thursday, Jan. 30.
From 5 to 7 p.m., the multipurpose room, library and computer labs showcased scores of impressive student projects created for this year’s National History Day competition. The event also revealed the winners who will go on to compete at the county level.
Organizers said a couple hundred guests stopped by to check out the many student-produced exhibits, websites, performances, research papers and documentaries. All were based on historical events and tied to the contest’s theme, “Rights and Responsibilities in History.”
