Elementary School – Student Chromebooks for Return to Campus
After the return to campus, all elementary schools will be in a 1:1 student-to-device model. Students who have checked out IUSD devices will need to bring their Chromebooks to school each day they are on campus. Students who have not checked out devices will have a dedicated IUSD Chromebook in the classroom. Devices will not be shared between multiple students without proper cleaning in between uses.

Middle School – Student Chromebooks for Return to Campus

After the return to campus, all Middle Schools (and Grades 6-8 at K-8 schools) will be in a 1:1 student-to-device model using IUSD Chromebooks. Students will bring the devices from home when they are on campus. Each middle school student in the hybrid model that has not already checked out an IUSD Chromebook will need to check one out from the school. Your school site will provide more information regarding the specifics of the checkout process.

High School – Student Chromebooks for Return to Campus

While on campus, students will continue to leverage technology to access online curriculum and resources, complete assignments, collaborate on projects, and communicate with school staff and their fellow students. Each student will need their own device to fully participate in these activities. Students enrolled in the hybrid program will be required to bring a device (Chromebook or laptop) to school each day. Students may choose to bring their own personal device, or check out a device from IUSD for the duration of the school year.
