Prop 39 Lighting Retrofit Services at Nine District Sites

RFQ/RFP NO. 16/17-01MO, CLEAN ENERGY JOBS ACT PROP 39 LIGHTING RETROFIT SERVICES AT NINE DISTRICT SITES

Irvine Unified School District (District) requests qualified Contractor Firms ("Contractor") to submit their qualifications and proposal for the following services ("Services"):

Turn-key Construction services for Lighting Fixture Retrofit and Replacement projects including design, management, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and related services for the installation of high efficiency lighting equipment and controls in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW) Attachment “A” and the Detailed Lighting Audit Attachment “C”.

Work shall be performed at the following nine (9) sites:

  • Canyon View Elementary School, 12025 Yale Ct, Irvine CA 92620-0210
  • District Office, 5050 Barranca Parkway, Irvine, CA 92604-4652
  • Early Childhood Learning Center, 1 Smoketree, Irvine, CA 92604-3158
  • Plaza Vista School, 670 Paseo Westpark, Irvine, CA 92606-8946
  • South Lake Middle School, 655 West Yale Loop, Irvine, CA 92614-7939
  • Springbrook Elementary School, 655 Springbrook North, Irvine, CA 92614-7568
  • Turtle Rock Elementary School, 5151 Amalfi Dr, Irvine, CA 92603-3443
  • University High School, 4771 Campus Dr., Irvine, CA 92612-3298
  • Westpark Elementary School, 25 San Carlo, Irvine, CA 92614-7314

ANNOUNCEMENTS

IUSD is currently advertising in the OC Register and accepting proposals until 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 28, 2017.
It is the Proposer's responsibility to ensure its Proposal is delivered and received by the time and at the location designated.  Any Proposals received after the scheduled closing date and time shall not be accepted. 

Firms must attend Mandatory Site Walks on Tuesday, February 14 and Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Firms not in attendance for the entirety of both site walks will be deemed ineligible to propose on this RFQ/RFP. Site walks are expected to last a minimum of four (4) hours each day and a mandatory sign-in sheet at ALL locations will be required. A District provided bus will depart at 9:30 am sharp. Parking is available in the District’s parking lot or on the street.

Pre-Bid Clarifications/Questions (RFI’s) regarding this Request for Qualifications and Request for Proposals (“RFQ/RFP”) must be received in writing via email to Angel Ayala at aayala@ccorpusa.com by 5:00 pm, Friday, February 17, 2017. Responses will be issued by 5:00 pm, Monday, February 20, 2017 via email and/or website posting.


Requests for material substitutions must be received in writing via email to Angel Ayala at aayala@ccorpusa.com by 5:00 pm, Friday, February 17, 2017. Responses will be issued by 5:00 pm, Monday, February 20, 2017 via email and/or website posting.


It is the Proposer's responsibility to notify the District at aayala@ccorpusa.com, of its interest in this RFQ/RFP and to monitor this site for any changes, updates, revisions, and/or uploaded documents. 


This RFQ/RFP is not a formal request for bids, or an offer by the District to contract with Firm(s) responding to this RFQ/RFP. The District reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals. The District also reserves the right to amend this RFQ/RFP as necessary. All materials submitted to the District in response to this RFQ/RFP shall remain the property of the District. The District reserves the right to seek proposals from, or to contract with, any Firm not participating in this process. The District shall not be responsible for the costs of preparing any proposal in response to this RFQ/RFP.
