A South Lake Middle School student has won first place in the art category of the 13th annual Holocaust Art and Writing Contest.

Results are in for IUSD's 31st annual District Science Fair, which was held Feb. 29 at University High School.

In case you missed it, the Orange County Register published its latest rundown of the county’s best school districts over the weekend, and Irvine once again found itself at the top of the list.

Corporate sponsors are being sought for a big awards banquet that will recognize the top teachers in the Irvine Unified School District. The 26th annual Excellence in Teaching Awards Banquet is scheduled to take place Friday, May 11 at the Irvine Marriott.
