IUSD is hosting our annual College and Career Fair at Portola High School in the gym on March 16 from 6-8 p.m. During this free event, IUSD students and families will have the opportunity to meet with more than 40 college and university representatives to explore a variety of career pathways.
Today, IUSD also announced the four 2019-20 Teachers of Promise given to first- or second-year instructors, who go above and beyond, while demonstrating professional curiosity and an unbridled enthusiasm for teaching.

Start your spring cleaning early this year at IUSD's e-waste recycling event on Saturday, February 22 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the District Office (5050 Barranca, Irvine).
IUSD's California Science Test scores have outperformed both state and county score averages with IUSD ranking No. 1 in California.

IUSD students in grades 6-12 participated in the District’s 39th annual Science Fair on Wednesday, February 5 at Northwood High School.

While students enjoyed a day off on Monday, Feb. 3, more than 2,000 teachers, administrators and staff attended IUSD’s annual Professional Learning Summit focused on teaching and learning.

IUSD is happy to share that we have updated our District annual residency verification process. In an effort to honor parent and staff time, we will be using the latest technology to verify residency by working with a third party software service.

IUSD and the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center/ Irvine Chinese School, is offering an after-school Mandarin Immersion program for IUSD K-3 students this spring. Registration deadline is Feb. 10.
