Woodbridge High juniors and their parents are encouraged to attend the school’s first ever “Out of State College Info Night & Mini-Fair” from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on May 31.

College admissions representatives from all over the country will be available to share information about their schools – and to make the case for earning a degree outside the Golden State. In addition, there will be a handful of 30-minute workshops to help demystify the college search and application process, making the event worthwhile even for those who plan to remain in California after graduation.  Workshop topics include “How Admission Decisions Are Made,” “How to Write a College Essay,” “College Admissions by the Numbers,” “Making the Most of the Campus Visit” and “Out of State College: More affordable than you think!” No RSVP is required, but the event is only for WHS 11th-graders and their parents. Refreshments will be provided by Woodbridge’s PTSA.
