Forgive us if we're starting to sound like a broken record, but congratulations are once again in order for the Woodbridge High School Entertainment Corps, which took home a number of honors over the weekend at a competition in Hacienda Heights.
The Warriors, who are probably shopping for a bigger trophy case about now, earned the overall tournament sweepstakes in the Golden State Field Classic, staged Saturday, Oct. 29 at Wilson High School. They also won the General Effect Sweepstakes, the Visual Sweepstakes, the Music Sweepstakes, the Auxiliary Sweepstakes and the Percussion Sweepstakes. Woodbridge's Entertainment Corps features more than 200 students, representing band, percussion, color guard and the dance team. If you haven’t yet seen them in action, you’ll get another chance this Saturday, Nov. 5, as they host their own competition at the Irvine High School Stadium. The local favorites are set to perform at 8:45 p.m.
