Welcome to IUSD NewsFlash, a place for breaking news and information about the Irvine Unified School District. As many of you may know, our district already had an online newsletter called IUSD Today, which chronicled some of the amazing things going on district-wide and at our campuses. But IUSD Today was only published about once every two months, and there were a lot of newsworthy events and important stories that we wanted to share between issues. Hence, NewsFlash was created. As you can see, newer items are posted at the top of the page, which will continue to evolve to meet the needs of an audience that includes parents, teachers, students, staff and community members. And for those who are a little tech-savvy, an RSS feed enables readers to get instant updates on their computers or smart phones. So feel free to take a look around.
